Shen Yun
The most gorgeous show I've ever seen!
Imagine sitting in a darkened room. The red curtain before you is down. Suddenly the orchestra begins a subtle, soft and melodic song. The curtain rises and it’s as if the sun just rose over the crest of a mountain.
As the lights turn on. The stunning colours in the beautiful costumes shine. The gorgeous backdrop depicts a painted version of Chinese scenery, including waterfalls and actual steam emerging from the bottom of the falls.
Shen Yun was gorgeous, acrobatic, and at times, humorous. The movement was precise and beautiful. The use of the back screen to bring characters in and out of the background was genius.
My daughter and I decided to check out Shen Yun in Mississauga. We both loved it. If you missed it last weekend, you can still catch Shen Yun in Toronto from April 1-10 2022.
