HIKING
Avoid Slipping and Falling – Get CRAMPONS
I went hiking at a local conservation area recently. The conditions were slippery and we had a difficult time. Except for the guy who wore these!
After our hike, I got online and bought a pair right away. I was surprised by how inexpensive they were.

These Nasjac Snow Gaiters are ideal for keeping your pant legs dry and mud/snow free.
Let’s face it, snow pants and rain pants are horrible for walking around any sort of distance because they don’t breathe and you’ll end up a sweaty mess!
These ones are good because they are tear resistant, waterproof. I like the strong buckle fastener (cheap ones often have elastics that overstretch), the zip sides (better than velcro) and the hook that attaches to your shoelace, so it doesn’t ride up.

NOXGEAR LIGHTHOUND – Multicolour Reflective Dog Harness
It’s nice for cars and other pedestrians to know that your dog is there whether it’s on trails, at camp, or just on the sidewalk.
This harness got the best reviews.
Here are the features I like: All colours in one vest, 12 hr battery life (rechargeable), machine washable.
Price is from $110 – $150 (The large being the cheaper price)
Our days are short and sometimes it’s dark when we are out walking the dog. I was researching wearable lights for my dog. But when I came across this Candofly Reflective LED Dog Leash, I thought it was a no-brainer. Some of our dogs are very fluffy, and an illuminated collar might not do the trick. But this leash will always be visible.
This leash is 1″ thick and sturdy. Best for medium and large-size dogs.
NOVKIN 2-pack Rechargeable Light
One on my jacket and one for the dog collar. Press to turn on. Easy peasy.
