Colourful Easter Events in Halton and Mississauga

There are many reasons to love Easter

  1. As a Catholic girl I remember the first time I saw the *Jesus Christ Superstar”play that was held in our local church. (A beautiful performance by highschool students) And every year, Easter is always a time for a big and beautiful Easter Mass.
  2. I love the traditions we have for the children. This is a time for treats and especially chocolate. I don’t know who came up with the bunny who lays colourful eggs (history is divided between Pagan traditions and German folklore), but it’s as brilliantly funny as it is confusing to children (like the point at which I had to explain to my young children that bunnies don’t actually lay eggs).
  3. And finally, to me, Easter means that flowers soon begin to bloom, and the grass begins to grow.
