📣 Announcement: Piazza Bistro has decided to go back to their original menu. Their pizza continues to be among the best in Oakville.

Imagine walking into Piazza Bistro, that cozy and inviting spot in Oakville, where the warmth of Minnie and Amar’s hospitality greets you.

Just last week, I ate at Piazza Bistro after having chatting with Minnie, who told me about Piazza Bistroo’s new and improved menu.  I was curious because this “bistro” style restaurant was about to become a place for fine dining downtown.

As I settled in, I couldn’t wait to try their new, exciting menu.

The charcuterie board, a colorful display of cured meats and artisan cheeses, immediately caught my eye. It was the perfect way to start an evening of delicious food and great company.

The octopus dish at Piazza Bistro was tender and delicious.

Next came the tender octopus dish. It was sooo good, perfectly prepared. It had a lovely smokey taste that I found was perfect for this dish.  I’m told that their calamari is “to die for,” so for seafood lovers like me, Piazza Bistro has you covered with these fantastic appetizers.

The arancini, with their crispy exterior and creamy interior, were a delightful surprise. I couldn’t get enough of these Italian rice balls.

But what truly wowed me was the Chilean sea bass, a dish that embodied elegance and refinement. The fish was so buttery and tender that every bite felt like a taste of luxury.

Feeling adventurous, I ordered the duck, and it was a flavorful journey I won’t soon forget. The rich, savory sauce complemented the tender duck perfectly.

And there is more … so much more. I could have mentioned the carpaccio, the burger, the sirloin steak or the lamb.  All were very decadent.

The mojito barley (with the lamb) was surprising and adventurous! The kind of creativity you’d find at a top-notch restaurant such as this one. We all know mint goes with lamb, but I’ll bet you’ve never had this!

The best part? I wasn’t the only one impressed. Online reviews are full of praise for Piazza Bistro’s new menu. The fantastic food, the cozy ambiance, and the excellent service all received glowing compliments. It’s evident that Piazza Bistro is entering a new era of dining excellence.

So, overall, my evening at Piazza Bistro was a culinary adventure to remember. Minnie and Amar are very friendly and welcoming. After I left, I had a wonderful chat with one of their regular customers, who had a lot of good things to say about how much they loved the restaurant and its new(ish) owners. 

With Chef Zach, and amazing Waitress Silvia, at the helm, I am confident that this lovely restaurant will continue to flourish.
