Overall I found this to be a nice and easy route to walk, run or bike. It’s definitely a nice way to get from Glenashton Rd to Upper Middle Rd. and back.

Extend This Route

If you’d like, you can cross Glenashton Rd and continue the path north along Morrison Creek. This area is referred to as Morrison Valley and part of the path does have a hill. I’ve personally taken this trail all the way up until it meets Trafalgar just south of Dundas St.

My son and I on the part of the trail north of Laurelwood Park called Morrison Valley

There is a portion of this part of the trail that I thought might be good for photos because it is heavily wooded and the trees almost form a nice green archway. I looked back at my older photos because I had been on this trail a few times. Above is an old photo of my son and I biking this trail.

My dog Phoenix is sitting nicely, while I take a photo of the gorgeous greenery on this Morrison Creek N. Trail

So, overall, Laurelwood Trail is a fun short walk that you can try out when you are looking for a different place to walk that is flat and picturesque.

I also recommend continuing this trail northward along Morrison Creek for a very picturesque “green archway” vibe.
