I love it at Memorial Park and Leash free in Oakville
Located in Oakville, this little park is a great place to walk on trails and bring the dog to the dog park there. The area is picturesque, with a children’s playground and an adult exercise area.
The adult exercise area has parallel bars, chin-up bars, pillars for box jumps, and more. These two were warming up before their run. But you could go there for a full warm-up. And no gym fees! It’s not Muscle Beach, but it’s pretty good for Halton.
If you walk by the community garden in August, you’ll see flowers in bloom, ripe tomatoes, and beautiful sunflowers.
The leash free area is on the other side of this park and has two separate areas for dogs.
And the walking path is a great way to stroll, scooter or bike.
I neglected to take a photo of the really great children’s playground – next time!
