🐟 Fishing AND Hiking! 🚶

Lake Aquitaine Park

Sometimes, there are little bits of oasis within the cities. This looks like one such place. The trail is a one-mile loop and will take about 17 minutes. I read some comments about this area and apparently it is a good place to fish. The City of Mississauga website says “There is a variety of fish in the lake such as largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, rock bass, perch and crappie.”

📍 How to get there: 🧭

If you park at Meadowvale Towncenter close to the bus terminal, there is a path from the bus terminal that leads right into the “Aquitaine Loop ” trail. Walk across the field where the busses pick up passengers, and the path leads to a tunnel with beautiful murals and past the community center. And voila! You’re at Lake Aquitaine. Enjoy!
