Patisserie D'Or French Bakery in Oakville Has Amazing Desserts

A Lovely French Bakery Called Patisserie D'Or

I brought my sister (in-law) to a lovely French Bakery called Patisserie D’Or.

While there, I couldn’t help but notice these lovely ladies. Don’t they look fashionable with their bright colours and lovely scarves? It’s like they knew they were going to be photographed!

As you can see in the background, this bakery was decorated with French photography. The ambiance is bright and lovely there with butter-yellow walls, bistro chairs and placemats that feature maps and locations in France.

And you gotta go and meet Monica, who owns the bakery along with her French-born husband, Pastry Chef Jean-Luc. The two met while working at The Four Seasons Hotel bakeshop in Toronto.

Monica tells us that Jean-Luc was a Pastry Chef and has much experience from working in many French bakeries.

To show us, she grabbed a placemat from the next table that featured the map of France and indicated the many small towns and villages in northern France where the young Jean-Luc had worked.

Patisserie D’Or is one of the restaurants I’m featuring in an upcoming article about the Best Bakeries in Oakville. They specialize in amazing croissants (we had a chocolate croissant), tasty tarts (I recommend the Peach-Almond – it was ah-mazing!) and beautiful small cakes.
