Itā€™s paved as well so you definitely donā€™t have to worry about mud.

Lisgar Meadowbrook Trail

I went to Lisgar Meadowbrook Trail in Mississauga today. Here’s a bit of advice for you before you go. In the video, I makeĀ recommendations about where to park and begin the route.

Once there, you’ll walk on a reallyĀ nice wide trail. It’sĀ pavedĀ as well so you definitelyĀ don’t have to worry about mudĀ as you would on dirt trails. Today, there were manyĀ cyclistsĀ andĀ walkersĀ on this trail.

Note theĀ garbage and recycling bins. You can find these at both ends of the trail.

I love theĀ benchesĀ that were placed along the route. I saw a person sit there to have a chat on her phone while looking over Osprey Marsh. It’s not a bad place to have a phone call, right?

As you walk, you’ll pass behind school yards, sports fields, a tennis court and Osprey Marsh.

I decided to go off the route a bit to see the ducks in the pond. It was nice to take a minute to observe the birds. There are three in this picture – can you see them?

Details:

How to get there: I recommend you start at 6755 Lisgar Drive (Lisgar Fields Community Park) and then walk south on the trail there. Here is theĀ Alltrails MapĀ to show you where the trail goes. It’s a there-and-back kind of trail.
