This scenic waterfront park is 7 acres. The inside fenced area has a nice walking track on the perimeter with grass in the middle for all the dogs to run and play. A water tap at the front entrance of the park is especially handy for those really hot days. Bathrooms that are open all year round are close by.

Tired of the park, why not walk along the waterfront? Just off the trail is a beautiful rocky beach with brightly coloured orange rocks. Great for skipping rocks and taking selfies! The nearby park with climbing apparatus and swings is a fav with the kids as well as a humongous splash pad.

Beware when using your map apps because there are many other “Lakeside” parks around here. Make sure you have the one located at the very bottom of Southdown Road and Lakeshore. You should be south of Clarkson GO Station.
