Little Saigon 88 Will Surprise You
One Restaurant - 3 Cuisines
I had to give a little shout-out to this Vietnamese-Chinese-Thai Restaurant along Dundas in Oakville. Nestled in the corner of a strip mall off Dundas St., you might just miss this amazing restaurant.
Little Saigon 88 is located in the Shopper’s Drug Mart Plaza off Prince Michael Drive and Dundas. There is plenty of parking there, and bonus if you like Starbucks Coffee or need to go to Shoppers, both are nearby.
Tired of the same old dining routine? Well, hold onto your taste buds because Little Saigon 88 in Oakville is here to spice up your life! They’re not your run-of-the-mill restaurant; they’re the ultimate flavor trifecta, serving up mouthwatering Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines all under one roof.
Little Saigon 88’s Unique Fusion: This hidden gem seamlessly fuses the best of these three culinary worlds, creating a dining experience that’s nothing short of a taste explosion. From the zesty Pho to the aromatic Pad Thai and the savoury General Tso’s chicken, there’s something to please every palate.
Just yesterday, I had a craving for Thai Food. On behalf of my family of 4, I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Bangkok noodles, BBQ Pork Thai Fried Rice, Wonton soup and Tom Yum (Chicken and Shrimp) soup. Everything was delicious. The noodles were just right, and the sauces complimented the dish with the savoury and sweet taste that is the hallmark of Thai Food. The soups are generous. We had 12 wontons in our wonton soup, so all 4 of us could share. The shrimp was large and plentiful in each of the dishes. Overall, we loved it so much that the entire family agreed that this would be our new Thai Food Restaurant.
Previously, we had the Pho and Vietnamese dishes which were delicious, and I can also recommend those and the fried rice. I thought it was amazing that this little restaurant does the job of 3 different restaurants, yet the food rivals some of the more specialized restaurants we’ve been to.
A Delightful Ambiance: The restaurant’s charming diner-like ambiance adds to your dining experience. It’s a busy and popular place that feels casual, making it the perfect place to unwind and savour the rich, diverse flavours.
Rave Reviews: If you’re still not convinced, check out what the folks on Yelp and TripAdvisor have to say. With glowing reviews praising the friendly staff, generous portions, and authentic flavors, you’ll feel like you’ve hit the foodie jackpot.
Wrap Up: So, there you have it! Little Saigon 88 is where adventure and taste collide. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, aromatic Thai curries, or comforting Chinese classics, this place has you covered. Take a delicious journey through the heart of Asia, all in the heart of Oakville. Prepare to embark on a culinary trip that will leave you returning for more. Little Saigon 88 – it’s three times the yum! 🍜🥢
